In 1975 Greg Gannon, a local teacher, founded Higher Achievement to bridge the opportunity gap for youth in Washington, DC. Over the past 40 years, we have propelled more than 10,000 middle school students to success.

Higher Achievement’s proven program model offers over 600 hours of year-round academic enrichment to fifth through eighth grade students from low-income communities in order to promote academic gains and leadership.
