$1.89 million to Higher Achievement, a national education organization dedicated to closing the opportunity gap for middle-school students. The grant will allow the nonprofit to expand its afterschool and summer academic programs to serve 1,360 students in Baltimore; Pittsburgh; Washington, D.C.; and Richmond, Va.
