“I think that Hidden Figures has inspired me because it teaches me that I can follow my dreams and achieve them no matter what my skin color is: white, black, Hispanic, Jamaican, mixed, bi-racial. I loved the movie because it was funny and educational at the same time. I like how it was educational because it shows rockets going into space and how it blows up and how it lands in space and comes back down onto earth. When the movie showed the group of black women walking together it made me happy because I saw that black women were able to work at an all-white NASA ‘program’.”
