For Alumni

Our support doesn’t end in 8th grade. The transition from middle to high school is among the most critical in students’ academic careers. Our high school transition programming intentionally supports scholars and families as they navigate this transition.

For our earliest alumni, we offer our 9th Grade Bridge Retreat — a multi-day learning experience designed to help scholars enter high school equipped with the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to succeed.

Higher Achievement’s mentors are key partners to our scholars’ success. In just one hour a week, you can empower the next generation of scholars. Mentors support scholars as they identify their talents and pursue their dreams, all while broadening their professional skill set and building lasting relationships.

We love to celebrate the accomplishments of our alumni! Share your story to be featured on our blog, or speak at an event to inspire the next generation of scholars.

The Last Dollar Alumni Fund Scholarship supports Higher Achievement alumni as they work toward college completion or finishing a trade program.

Each year, we hear from alumni facing unexpected financial obstacles that can disrupt their progress. The Last Dollar Alumni Fund provides flexible financial support—up to $1,000—to help remove these barriers.

This fund is designed to support alumni navigating urgent financial challenges that impact their ability to complete their program, whether related to education or other critical needs.
