Higher Achievement is proud to establish the Suzanne Keech Memorial Fund to sustain and promote her legacy of ensuring Higher Achievement scholars get into top high schools. Suzanne’s passion for Higher Achievement was deep and endless. She served as a powerful board member for many years, and we miss her tremendously. The Fund will help support high school placement activities in DC Metro and Baltimore, including orienting families on the local high school landscape, and matching scholars with the high schools that maximize their promise and potential.

Thanks to the Sarah Rosen Scholars program, Higher Achievement’s services don’t end when a student graduates from eighth grade. The Sarah Rosen Scholars program recruits six high-school-aged alumni to sign up for a two-year summer internship that allows students to intern in an office environment for four days a week and focus on preparing for college one day a week. The first class of interns started the program in the summer of 2016. Sarah Rosen’s legacy continues with this important program for DC Metro Alumni.
