Love Out Loud
Love Out Loud marks the culmination of months of hard work and preparation. Higher Achievement scholars study the writings of well-known authors, including Rodolfo Anaya, Langston Hughes, and James Weldon Johnson. Scholars learn about language styles and self-expression and explore poetic elements. After ample study and practice, scholars demonstrate their skills by writing their own love-themed poetry. Each of our four achievement centers will host their own Love Out Loud poetry competition, the winners from each center will share at the regional Love out Loud held on March 8th.
