Sky’s the Limit for Higher Achievement Scholars!

At Higher Achievement, I not only learned about the horizons outside of me, but also the ones within, as I was always challenged to become the best I could be.

– Lidwina Bell, Higher Achievement Alumna

To our amazing community,

As Lidwina described at last night’s Going Places Gala, Higher Achievement scholars and supporters prove time and time again that the Sky’s the Limit. Last night’s event brought together a community of over 600 champions to celebrate 41 years of dedication and commitment by Higher Achievement scholars, mentors, and supporters, including our 2016 honoree, Mitchell N. Schear.

Thanks to our supporters, we raised more than $1.4 million that allow us to not only sustain programming, but expand Higher Achievement to more scholars in more communities.

If you were inspired by last night’s program, we hope you’ll join us on our journey to serve more scholars in the DC region:

As alumna Adar Howard said, “thank you for allowing students to reach their potential and for providing opportunities for students to become scholars.”
