How You Can Help

Higher Achievement is successful because of the people who support our work. You can help, too.

  • Contribute your time as a mentor or volunteer. Mentors volunteer two hours per week from October to May and teach a small group of scholars mathematics, literature, or a seminar course. Volunteers help scholars with homework and other projects. Volunteer now.

  • Donate. Higher Achievement depends on support from foundations, business, and individuals. Individual donation opportunities include joining the local President’s Council, using your buying power at more than 4,000 stores (visit www.IGive.com), and making individual contributions. Donate online.

  • Share your expertise. Serve as a guest lecturer, participate in a job-shadowing day, or judge one of our academic events. For more information, contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

  • Spread the word. Tell others about Higher Achievement and encourage them to support our scholars and get involved.

"Higher Achievement gave my children opportunities I am not capable of giving them, taught my children to be a productive students and citizens, and worked hand-in-hand with me."
